Four months ago today, BTS performed in Madrid for the very first time, marking the beginning of the European leg of ARIRANG tour 🥹 I still can't believe I was part of those moments 💜
Four days, two cities, countless memories, and thousands of voices singing together 🫶🏾

“In South Korea, gallery owners and art dealers who have met RM have told me their nickname for him is "bakhsa" (professor) owing to the depth of his knowledge.”
*박사 (bakhsa) usually refers to a PhD holder or a scholar with exceptionally deep knowledge of a specific subject

it’s always been one of those unwritten but widely understood rules in this fandom that we don’t use bts’ genuinely painful moments as jokes. whether it’s gifs of them actually crying or now their ms photos, i don’t see why that should change.

— “And judging by the number of people already buying tickets, the rest of the industry has some catching up to do.”
“What makes this extraordinary is that BTS are operating at this scale as a Korean-language pop group in an industry that once insisted international artists needed to adapt themselves to Western audiences to achieve comparable success. BTS have demonstrated that audiences are perfectly capable of crossing linguistic and cultural boundaries when the music, performances and personalities offer something they want. The industry’s assumptions changed because the audience changed them first.
There’s also a distinction between becoming famous and sustaining fame. A song can dominate the charts for a few weeks. A viral video can reach hundreds of millions of people. But building a global audience willing to fill stadiums across multiple continents requires something much more durable. BTS have managed to turn the anticipation surrounding their return into real-world demand on a scale that only a small number of touring acts can approach.”

"It’s different in so many ways. It’s unlike anything we’ve ever experienced, and probably will experience ever again."
"To actually see it in the galleries, people are crying in front of you. You’re never going to expect that. It’s a beautiful surprise.”

Bao Nguyen (dir. of BTS: The Return) was asked about BTS's decision to not submit to the Grammys at a @HIFF Q&A.
BN: I wholly respect the decision and I think it's very brave for them to do this. … In solidarity with the group, we pulled our submission from the Grammys as well.
"The really interesting part isn’t how many tickets they’re selling. It’s how completely they’ve changed the conversation about who gets to fill the world’s biggest venues."
The article dives into the Arirang tour details and how it's different.👇

"The impressive thing about ‘Arirang’ isn’t that BTS can sell out one stadium. It’s that they can keep doing it, city after city, country after country, while adding more dates to accommodate the people still trying to get inside."

BTS don't have a ticket-selling problem. They have a finding-enough-stadiums problem. BTS have already sold nearly 2.4 million tickets across 41 stadium shows, and 'Arirang' is adding 23 more dates in Asia and Australia. zurl.co/pFgKO
