Fantasy For Sale is running a cover contest!
All covers will be vetted for AI use
Submissions begin on June 15th 🔥
I know this requires a bit more legwork on the part of authors, but I also feel it’ll be worth it to preserve the integrity of the contest 💖🧵

Looking for some ARC readers for a dark epic fantasy tale following main characters on either side of a war between elves and minotaurs. Developed cultures, opposing beliefs, no clear heroes or villains. If that sounds up your alley, check the L!nk bel0w.

Something for your TBR:
Shamanic cults and psychedelic cosmic horror in a frozen post-apocalyptic Scotland, where the last rationalist tries to solve a totally irrational problem in a giant armoured landship.
Scout caught his first ever mouse today so I’ve just been sat here telling him how his ancestors saved my ancestors from famine and plague and how proud they’d be

We acknowledge that no one has the bandwidth for this, but if it helps:
-It’s ‘sleight of hand’
-It’s ‘bated breath’
-It’s ‘lo and behold’
-It's 'buck naked'
-It’s ‘brass tacks’
-It’s ‘free rein’
-It’s ‘toe the line'

🚨MAY I HAVE YOUR ATTENTION PLEASE🚨
My book is out NOW!
I am humbled to be able to share this story with the world. I genuinely surprised myself with this one. It means the world to me, and I can only pray it will mean half as much to you.
Find it in my bio and replies⬇️

Well, today is off to a great start.
Can't wait to read The Bookshop Book. Very cool of you to do this, Mark 🍻
And thanks to @BSBOttawa for, you know, existing 😅 Great place for drinks and reading, and now you've won me a book as well?
Cheers to the Black Squirrel! 🍻😂
Having entered into the world of fiber arts, there seems to be some beef between the knitters and crocheters, which I absolutely love 😂
But, for those who would like to travel this path and pick a team, I would like to impart what I have learned.
Crochet uses more yarn than🧵
Knitters will beef with each other over knitting styles, which I think there are only two of? English and Continental. Crocheters are very boring and kumbaya.
In summary, knitting has a higher financial barrier to entry but will save you on yarn. If you want to do more things🧵

I've been seeing a lot of discourse over the death of bioware---what killed it, who deserves the blame; mindless anger and endless politicking---but I really just want to talk about how great of a game Dragon Age: Origins was

It's exactly 85 days before Sanguine Scenario arrives! Preorders are live now, so if you're looking for a fantasy book that is not too dark and not to cozy, and that has zero romance and 100% friendship, this might be a book for you!
ALT Sanguine Scenario cozy dark graphic Cover of Sanguine Scenario by Joanna Maciejewska and text. Cozy dark. On the cozy side: tea, hope, friendship, happy endings, friendly banter, animal companion. On the dark side: murders, blood magic, mutated monsters, werewolf-like species, people drinking blood, forbidden experiments.

It has become routine now that @GetFalcontext gets opened with my regular writing documents.
I switched the look to better match my personal preference. Love that you can do that!

Not only does Isaac Anderson (@zoofries) run the Youtube show All Caps! & is a founding member of Pen & Dragon, but he also wrote Song of Bones & The Garden Maze, plus a short story in the Rings of Adventure anthology. AND he does art!
