“You kinda take a little from everybody”
The Glazers are hoping to get hundreds of millions of dollars from American taxpayers to fund the renovation of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ stadium, a project estimated to cost around $1 billion. At the same time, they’re planning to build a £2 billion stadium for Manchester United without putting a penny of their own money into it.
“Taking a ‘little’ from everybody” - the Glazers’ family motto.

Not a chance, they’d never sell with the price so low relegation would guarantee them staying for even longer.

What in store for United's financial future?
#MUFC's annual interest costs on the LBO debt this year will be the equivalent of 3 players on £275k a week. The spine of a squad.
On the 40th anniversary of Sir Alex Ferguson's first day, we go back to the beginning of United's financial juggernaut success and track what actually happened to United's finances since then and what the future could hold.

Excellent piece here on the damage the Glazers have done to #mufc. It’s to the football authorities’ eternal shame that more wasn’t done to prevent this leveraged buyout, and those who sold their shares to the Glazers deserve criticism. A tale of shameless greed and ineptitude.
If time is the great healer then 21 years isn't nearly enough at Old Trafford.
On the lengthening shadow of that Glazer takeover and how Manchester United's debt hurts the club now more than ever before

I’m not opposed to a walk out.
But I won’t be lectured to by anonymous e-reds who have never been to a game. We support the team and the club. If I watched our players up for it and running and fighting on the pitch for 20 mins. I’d find it very hard to walk out on them.
