In it's current form, X no longer aligns with our values so we have made a decision to stop posting in X. You can still follow MacIntyre Academies on Linked In and Facebook. Thank you
Please remember that we have lots of activities planned towards the end of term. Pupils bringing sun hats, suncream and extra cold drinks is always helpful for them to be safe and have fun.
Exam season is very much upon us and we would like to thank our pupils for their conduct and our brilliant exams officer Amy for making it all look so effortless..... We know it's not really 🤩 Thank you too, to our invigilation team who are critical in making this work 😍

On Monday our Activist Nicole said these words in Parliament as part of a speech to MPs at our #EndTheWait event.
ALT Our mental health system is desperately trying to put out the millions of little fires that are burning young people’s hopes and futures. And with the lack of intervention before situations escalate, the country is on fire. Young people cannot access the smoke alarms, the fire exits, the fire extinguishers. We have no support we can access easily and are left to watch the fire burn, waiting on those in power to take action.
Planning is underway for our overnight trip to PGL in Shropshire next term for some pupils in Key Stage 3. Letters will go out before the break to those eligible. 👍

We are always amazed by the talents and skills of our pupils. B has been using art as a way to de-stress. She's really proud of how her technique has improved over a short space of time and so she should be. Always happy to share the great work of our young people.

Today we asked classes to pay their respects to those who have been lost to war. It was a time to reflect on our own family histories for some, the sacrifices of others and to talk about war in the world today. We will remember them 💜

All week we have been looking at what we can do when things get stressful. Now here are some of our young people with some advice and they tell us what they do when they may feel stressed in school! #StressAwarenessWeek
