Weekend plans: sleep in, eat something good, ignore a few notifications.
Funny how we spend so much time staring at screens tracking our lives, while sometimes forgetting to actually live them.
Your sleep, your habits, your environment, your health, life leaves traces everywhere. But not every part of life needs to become a metric.
What's one thing you're doing this weekend that no app needs to track?

I don’t think of Matrix as a crypto project. I never have.
I think of it as the answer to one question I couldn’t let go of: when your body becomes the most valuable data source on earth, who owns it?
Right now the answer is: whoever holds the server. I’ve spent nine years trying to make the answer: you.
That’s the whole thing. Everything else is implementation.

The hardest part of building infrastructure nobody’s asking for yet isn’t the technology.
It’s the years. Building something the market won’t need until later means being wrong in public for a long time before you’re right once.
I don’t romanticize it. Most days it’s unglamorous work on a problem few people see. But the four things that make biology tradeable, provenance, consent, quality, liability, don’t build themselves, and nobody else was doing it.
So we did. Quietly. For nine years.

Your EEG reveals patterns of brain activity.
Your HRV reflects variations in heart rhythm.
Your SpO₂ measures blood oxygen saturation.
This isn't ordinary transactional data.
It deserves a different approach to privacy.
In our latest BioData development, raw data is not uploaded directly to the blockchain by default.
The principle is simple:
Make data useful without making unnecessary exposure the price of using it.

1st Bi-Weekly Report of October 2026 | Matrix AI Network
Building blockchain infrastructure isn't just about transactions. It's about making the systems behind them more secure, resilient, and ready for real-world use.
This reporting period, our development focused on two key areas:
🔐 EVM Security & Reliability
Enhanced smart-contract access controls, pause and exception-handling mechanisms, node monitoring, and transaction logging.
🧬 Privacy-Aware BioData Infrastructure
Advancing a workflow that keeps raw biological data off-chain by default, with encryption, hashing, and on-chain registration.
Progress isn't just about what a network can do. It's about how responsibly it can do it.

From the 1st Bi-Weekly Report of October | EVM Development
A smart contract works.
Good.
But what happens when something goes wrong?
Can access to critical functions be controlled?
Can the contract be paused when necessary?
Can exceptional conditions be handled?
Our latest EVM development includes enhanced access controls and contract pause and exception-handling mechanisms.
Because good infrastructure isn't designed only for the happy path.
It's designed with the unhappy path in mind.

The most interesting token statement in the September AMA had very little to do with the token.
The team was asked how Matrix plans to strengthen it.
The answer went back to the foundation:
Build the platform.
Build applications.
Build utility.
Then let the ecosystem create flow.
Is that backwards for crypto?

September was not about having all the answers.
It was about showing what is being built, what is already running, what still needs to be tested, and what comes next.
From the new EVM infrastructure and community testing to staking, interoperability, BioData, privacy and the thinking behind the next stage of Matrix.

Question:
Can the new infrastructure connect with major networks such as Ethereum, Bitcoin and Solana?
Owen’s answer in the September AMA:
“Yes.”
The interesting part is what comes after the yes: interoperability is part of the reason for building the new mainnet.
How important is interoperability to a new chain?

The best test of infrastructure is not whether the team says it works.
It’s what happens when other people try to break it.
Matrix said the new EVM chain will have a community testing window before the official switch.
Transactions. Wallets. DApps.
What would you test first?

Here’s the part of the September AMA that may have been easy to miss:
The new EVM chain is already running.
The community test window comes after the economic model is confirmed and tokens are distributed.
So the next step isn’t “build a chain.”
It’s testing what has been built.

Tokenomics is being finalized before the new mainnet switch.
Why wait?
Because once it is written into the mainnet, changing it should not be the easy option.
That may be slower.
But maybe some things in crypto should be harder to change.

“The Operating System for Human Health.”
That's how a startup now describes an AI that brings together your face scans, medical records, labs and wearables.
Interesting phrase.
Because an operating system isn't just something you use.
It's the layer everything else depends on.
In healthcare, that raises a question we shouldn't rush past:
Who sits underneath the intelligence?
Who connects the data?
Who defines its context?
Who verifies where it came from?
Who controls the infrastructure through which your health is understood?
The future of health AI may not be decided by who builds the smartest model.
It may be decided by who builds the layer underneath it.
Be careful what you choose to stand on.

What did it learn from?

Which session?
Who owns it?

A dataset can be genuinely collected and still leave unanswered questions:
Who collected it?
With what device?
When?
Which session?

The latest BioData Registry work is designed around exactly these questions.
Collect reality.
Register its provenance.
Verify its integrity.

September's First Bi-Weekly Report
Here's the BioData problem most people don't talk about:
You can collect more signals without actually creating more useful data.
Why?
Because EEG, sleep, physiological and other signals need to be aligned, identified and understood in context.
More data isn't automatically better data.
What if the next breakthrough is better coordination, not more collection?

September's 1st Bi-Weekly Report is out.
The headline is the new EVM chain entering trial.
But the more important work may be underneath:
EEG time synchronization.
Device metadata.
Session metadata.
Early on-chain data registration.
These are not just engineering details.
They're pieces of one bigger question:
Can biological data be trusted as data?
That is the infrastructure Matrix is building.

EEG synchronization is reaching millisecond-level infrastructure.
Device and session metadata are taking shape.
The pieces are beginning to connect.
Why does that matter for BioData?
