Since the start of the year we’ve planted a tree for every player who’s joined one of our sessions. This week we planted our 1,000th tree! Which is nice 🙂

A dominant display by the Belle Vue Celtics last night, winners of the MBA40 Final Fours with an impressive sweep!
The ring (donut) ceremony will take place next Tuesday. (Tickets will be available through all the usual outlets.)

All the money from last night’s sessions is already on its way to @McrFoodbank 🙂 Thanks to everyone who came and a special thanks to long time member and all round top chap, @3__Bells, for matching the total.
So, this happened last night. Our very first 3x3 tournament!
Well done to the Ridge Raiders and the Faç51ers who shared the trophy* after a nail biting buzzer beater draw in the final (*there was no trophy, obvs)

We only went and got a silver medal at an international tournament. I guess the Israeli Pro team were always gonna be favourites!

If anyone fancies a change from bouncing a ball, Mel’s mixed netball team is looking for players, starting this Sunday.
Get in touch if you’re interested.

Another really fun, friendly and relaxed over-40s basketball session this morning.
(But can’t help thinking we overdid the seating again).

If your coach doesn’t use a frisbee during basketball training then, frankly, it’s time to start asking some serious questions.

To all our crew, new and old, young and, erm, old, we wish you a very Happy Christmas and we can’t wait to see you on court in 2022.
