Our crews are working across #PEI on this sunny day. Electrical repairs, new @Generac installs and picking up where we left off on our #solar projects. Neighbours have been so friendly around the job sites so if you see one of our trucks on your street feel free to flag us down!

It’s not enough to prepare yourself for extreme weather and natural disasters — you’ve got to get with your neighbors and get your community ready. vox.com/even-better/23196757…
Preparing for extreme weather is a community concern. Here’s how to be ready.

Between hurricanes, droughts, wildfires, and more, scientists have dubbed summer the “Danger Season.”

We are very pleased overall with the performance of our damaged #solar arrays. Specifically we mean, how well our ground mount racking systems stood up to the wind gusts of Fiona. In some places, the systems tipped, fully in tact, and the screw piles were “uprooted”. #PEI

Here, a downed tree landed on an array and the cross bars didn’t buckle at all. We exclusively use the best screw piles on the market that meet all the standards for Cndn construction materials.

At another solar site, the steel racking components held on while the five foot concrete posts they were mounted to lifted out of the ground! Yes, more than a handful of individual panels were lost, but we maintain all confidence in our premium, engineered equipment. #PEI

When the dust settles from Fiona’s aftermath, please make it a priority to get your @Generac generator into a regular maintenance package with our team of certified technicians. A lot of issues we’re seeing could have been avoided. This one hasn’t been serviced in years! #PEI
