Amid all the analysis of what a mistrial will mean in the Clancy trial, it’s worth stopping for a moment.
Callan was eight months old. Dawson was three. Cora was five. Callan lived four more days on life support before he died.
Testimony says each child took up to two minutes to strangle. Time two minutes right now. Now imagine doing that three times, to your own children, without stopping.
Don’t lose the victims in all the legal procedures.

🇨🇦 Canada loves entrepreneurs—until they get too successful.
That’s the problem @MicheleRomanow, “Dragon” on CBC’s Dragons’ Den and Co-Founder of Clearco, sees in Canada’s approach to entrepreneurship.
We celebrate the corner store and the small business. But when a Canadian company grows into a global success story like Shopify or Lululemon? Romanow says “tall poppy syndrome” starts to kick in.
And she argues that mindset has real consequences. If Canada wants founders to take enormous risks, build global companies and create jobs here at home, we need a culture—and policies—that actually reward them for succeeding.
Because if Canada wants the next Shopify, it has to celebrate the one it already built.

TWAP gives you greater control when executing large orders by spreading trades over a defined time window, reducing slippage and minimizing market impact.

New on Rails 2.0: Margin modes.
You will now be able to trade in Isolated or Cross-margin mode, giving you more flexibility in managing risk.
This is one key step in our risk engine upgrade, available after the migration.

Learn to ship. Shipping is a skill distinct from coding. Shipping is designing, coding, QAing, story-telling, teaching, marketing, selling, pivoting, iterating…
It used to be that coding dominated in importance because of coding ability scarcity. AI will push you to go further.

Can I just point out how funny this is, given the paper is owned by Canada’s wealthiest billionaire family, all of whom inherited their wealth.
Should we hate them for that? Of course not, because that would be gross.
But, it reflects our tall-poppy syndrome at its finest.
Personally, I’m glad that the Ontario Teachers Pension Plan is getting a nice payout, as will many others who took a big risk investing in SpaceX.
I wish we had more audacious entrepreneurs making big bets and generating great jobs and wealth here in Ontario. I want to create an environment that makes it even more likely.
The world is not zero sum. The size of the pie is not fixed. If we make more, everyone can get a big piece.

Seeing all this @PhoenixTrade and @HyperliquidX drama makes me more bullish on @rails_xyz.
While the purple friends push another no-KYC, non-compliant platform (which I’m sure its awesome and can’t wait to try) the real excitement is happening around hybrid structures with full onchain custody that can compliantly power centralized mainstream fintech and TradFi venues. Best of both worlds.
TradFi and fintech powered by DeFi. Coming sooner than most think.

One integration. More products.

TradFi wants crypto. They just don’t want the regulatory risks.
Institutions want to offer crypto derivatives without building the infrastructure or taking on the compliance burden.
DEXs aren’t an option.
That’s where Rails comes in.

We recently announced Rails’ Institutional-grade Vaults, built on @StellarOrg
These vaults support Rails’ role as an infrastructure provider of crypto derivatives to institutions, unlocking deep liquidity required to scale with institutional demand.

I've been in crypto since late 2014. I've seen the boom and bust cycles, the speculation, the hype-driven narratives. That era is dead. In a grown-up world, crypto is a financial tech stack, not just tokenized culture driven primarily by speculation.
At @rails_xyz, we built regulation-first because we believed this convergence was inevitable. We're CIMA registered with NFA pending. Institutions don't integrate with unregulated venues. They can't. So we built the stack they need. That thesis is proving out. We've had significant institutional interest with many active conversations underway.
Where we are today since launching Rails last June and Play V2 in December:
* Close to $4B in total volume
* Revenue generating across both Rails and Rails Play with over 35,000 signups combined and growing
We're still early. Regulation creates onboarding friction by design. The progress despite that tells us we chose the right path.
What's coming this year:
* Options markets
* Institutional Vaults powered by @StellarOrg
With vaults, Rails owns the liquidity stack. More liquidity on the platform means tighter spreads across both our perps and options markets. Better experience for traders. Sustainable infrastructure for us as a middleware liquidity provider to our institutional partners.
Today our token goes live on @krakenfx. It will power @Railsplay_xyz directly over the coming weeks as the primary way to purchase evaluations. Like the rest of our stack, the token is a product in our ecosystem and we'll treat it like one.
We have no concerns over the short term. Our primary focus is building a great long-term company and growing revenue. Let the rest take care of itself.
We chose the hard path on purpose. Regulation first. Infrastructure first. Revenue first. We think it performs well in the long run.
Excited for what's ahead.

Rails' hybrid perps platform delivers:
• Institution-grade execution: Order matching at sub-ms speed.
• On-chain custody: Audited smart contracts.
• Credible by design: backed by industry leading funds and partners.

"A retest of $100,000 through $106,000 is not out of question, as it is common in bearish setups.” said @satraj , CEO of hybrid exchange Rails. “For BTC to be bullish it would need to reclaim and hold onto $106,000 on the weekly basis to have another stab at all time highs.”
