Removing Capital Gains Tax from Bitcoin is the single most important thing we can do for Bitcoin adoption.
It allows for Bitcoin to be used as money and incentivise people to save in Bitcoin over assets such as Real Estate.
I will keep repeating this.
Don’t give away your inner authority to anyone.
Do not trust any philosophy or spiritual teaching that does not call you into the world to respond, to contribute, to learn and to give.

🚨Brilliant interview!

🚨How do banks create money ?
💸💰💸💰💸💰💸
🚨Prof Werner is incomparable.
In the 5000 yr history of banking no-one has ever done an imperical study of banking to show where the money comes from- until now. Step up the rock star economist Professor Richard Werner. His amazing qualifications and held positions makes the eye water. He is truly the authority on this subject. Banks are thought of as deposit taking entities who lend money - but that is just wrong. His assessment - Banks dont lend money but they misrepresent (lie) to their customers and say that they do.

If bitcoin returns to the power law trend this time next year, that would mean prices above $220k.
Good advice:
“I own $BTC and will continue to invest as long as 21M holds but it's an inevitable rug and you'd better keep your ear to the ground.”
When you meet someone who can change your life, you will feel butterflies and fear.
When you meet someone who can change the trajectory of your soul, you will feel terror.

Chamath is an idiot.
For one… Satoshi doesn’t have a wallet.
Rather he holds Bitcoin in over 22,000 different addresses (essentially different “wallets” none connected to the other).
Two… SHA-256 isn't what guards anyone’s coins.
But Bitcoin uses too much energy! Brah, electric water heaters make Bitcoin look puny.
Replying to @heatbit_com
Why this matters for Bitcoin:
Homes burn ~300 TWh a year heating water. The whole Bitcoin network uses ~170 TWh.
Public miners are fleeing to AI and dumping coins to pay Wall Street and CEO salaries.
Home miners answer to no one. They keep their coins and hash no matter what.

They’ve normalized the idea that your money should become worth less every year. Not your car. Not your phone. Your actual money. The thing you exchange your life for.
And people think Bitcoin is risky!
Someone hacked my uncles Charles Schwab account and sold 49k of his stocks on Friday. Luckily he caught it on Monday morning and they were able to freeze the funds in time. Charles Schwab is trying to tell him that he must have shared his password or fell for a fishing
scam. Then the thieves tried to transfer the remaining funds to an account in Palm Springs. Looks like Schwab has been breached. And they are blaming their customers.

The greatest obstacle to truth may be the person you have become.
We live in an age where morality is constantly preached:
"Be honest." "Be compassionate." "Be courageous."
Yet knowing these ideals is not the same as living them.
A person may know that lying is wrong and still deceive.
He may praise truth publicly while avoiding truths about himself.
Morality cannot be installed through commandments.
It must become a force within the soul.
The very qualities that make us moral are also the qualities that make higher knowledge possible.
Three are essential:
- Truthfulness
- Courage
- Love
Most people believe they see reality as it is.
But do they?
How often do we observe something without immediately filtering it through our preferences, fears, opinions, and expectations?
We witness an action and rush to judge a person.
Yet we do not know his circumstances.
We do not know his struggles.
We do not know what lives within his soul.
Before we can perceive higher realities, we must first stop distorting the reality already before us.
Then comes courage.
Genuine knowledge does not always reveal what we hope to find.
Sometimes it tears apart cherished illusions.
Sometimes it exposes weaknesses we have spent years defending.
To know reality, we must become strong enough to encounter what contradicts us.
And finally, Love.
The capacity to move beyond our self-centered standpoint and develop a genuine, selfless interest in another being.
When another person suffers, we can experience something of his suffering within ourselves.
Our concern extends beyond the boundaries of our own ego.
We cease looking at another person as an object.
We begin meeting them as a living reality.
The more imprisoned we remain within ourselves, the less we can truly know what exists beyond ourselves.
This is why the path to higher knowledge is inseparable from moral development.
Truthfulness frees us from illusion.
Courage frees us from fear.
Love frees us from ourselves.
The purpose of spiritual knowledge is not to fill the mind with ideas.
It is to transform the human being who seeks to know.
The question is not simply how much truth you possess, but what kind of person you must become to perceive it.

The socialistic policies have undermined the economy.
🇫🇷 France's government SPENDING now equals roughly 57% of its entire economy...
That's higher than the levels shown here for the Soviet Union, communist Romania, Poland, and China.
• USSR at 50%
• Communist Romania at 42%
• Venezuela under Chávez at 38%
• Communist Poland at 36%
• China at 33%
Will France fall?

J.P. Morgan are now predicting Bitcoin to be the best performing asset over the next decade.
Their projections are still far too bearish but it's good to see $BTC getting the recognition it deserves.
Bitcoin will be to Millennials and Gen Z what real estate was to boomers.
There's no chains on me but I'm not free! Why is that?
The most dangerous chains are the ones you willingly place upon yourself.
Every cigarette promises relief.
A moment of calm.
A temporary escape from pressure.
But there is a difference between mastering unrest and suppressing it.
A person feels anxious or restless and reaches for a cigarette.
The discomfort fades.
He believes he has restored his inner equilibrium.
But has he truly overcome the impulse?
Or has he simply handed authority over his inner life to an external substance?
True equanimity is the capacity the I must develop through conscious inner activity:
the ability to remain inwardly steady without becoming the servant of every craving, emotion, or circumstance.
The problem is not merely what enters the lungs.
It is what happens when an external substance begins regulating what should be governed from within.
A person may believe that he is free.
Yet a simple craving can interrupt his thoughts, redirect his attention, and influence his choices.
In that moment, a portion of his freedom has been surrendered.
For spiritual development, this presents a serious question:
How can we become masters of our inner life while remaining dependent on something outside ourselves?
Every impulse presents a choice:
To obey it automatically.
Or to become fully conscious of it, understand it, and gradually transform your relationship to it.
You learn to distinguish between what you desire and what you consciously want.
You discover that an impulse, however powerful, is not identical with your true self.
Through repeated acts of conscious awareness and self-mastery, you begin to recover authority over your own inner life.
This extends far beyond tobacco.
Can you remain free when your desires demand satisfaction?

If I am reading this correctly, a former employee of Blockstream (Alphonse Pace) seems to be hinting that Blockstream is close to collapse and will not be getting any more money from Fulgur or Tether or Bitcoin OGs. I've heard that Alphonse was involved in building the Blockstream Mining Dashboard, allegedly with hashrate numbers that don't change. Has anyone else heard the same? If Blockstream goes, it's probably really bad news for Liquid bag holders. The omega candle jab is the icing on the cake

This will only fuel the exodus from banks to bitcoin.
The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency reviewed nine of the nation’s largest banks and found all nine had policies that required, encouraged, or influenced staff to deny or limit service based on customers’ political or religious beliefs or lawful business activity.
Debanking people for their political beliefs is a threat to every American’s liberty.
