Mikey in the Ryder Cup would feed families (us couple loyal fans)
Michael Brennan won his third PGA Tour title in just 12 months last week at the Baycurrant Classic. After the victory, he said he has a new goal. To play in the Ryder Cup.
“I haven't quite set down with my team to make the goals for next year, maybe some rough outlines.
“It would be really cool to play in the Ryder Cup next year in Ireland. That's definitely a goal of probably most Americans who play on the PGA Tour. I think that would be an amazing experience.
“I'm excited to get another crack at the majors. I think I learned a lot this year. Yeah, it's maybe a slightly different test than other tournaments, but I'm looking forward to going to play in those again.”
Michael is just 24 years old but is already up to 20th in the world. He’s one of a bunch of young American talents emerging over the last few years that should make the future bright for the US Ryder Cup team. The 12 man squad that lines up at Adare Manor next year could and should look very different to what we saw at Bethpage.
