On behalf of the family of my brother, King Oyo, we wish to make it absolutely clear that no official launch date has been released or shared for the King Oyo Memorial Foundation. Anyone claiming to be in charge of the launch or management of the Memorial Foundation is running a hoax and distributing false information for personal gain. The foundation is exclusively managed by our immediate family and close friends who serve on the board. The concept of the King Oyo Memorial Foundation was initially introduced in my mother’s (the Queen Mother’s) statement, which included projects such as the cancer research centre. It is deeply unfortunate that self seeking individuals are attempting to hijack this idea simply to keep the spotlight on themselves. When the launch date is officially set in stone, this platform will be among the first verified channels where you will see the information. Thank you for your vigilance and continued support.

🚨 Lionel Messi on whether he cares about reaching 1,000 career goals like Cristiano Ronaldo: 🎙️ Interviewer: “Lionel, you’re now on 937 career goals. Does reaching the 1,000-goal milestone motivate you, especially with Cristiano Ronaldo chasing that same target? Lionel Messi: “Honestly, no. I respect Cristiano and everything he has achieved, but I don’t wake up thinking about his numbers or trying to beat them. Football has never been about that for me. I play because I love the game.” Interviewer: “So you wouldn’t be disappointed if you retired without reaching 1,000? Lionel Messi: “Not at all. I’ve won the biggest trophies in football. I’ve experienced things I dreamed about as a child. Of course, I want to score whenever I play, but I’m not going to lose sleep over a number. If it happens, wonderful. If it doesn’t, my happiness won’t change.” Interviewer: “Some fans believe the 1,000-goal race is one of the biggest debates left between you and Ronaldo. Lionel Messi: “That’s for the fans to discuss. They can compare goals, assists, trophies and records every day if they want. I don’t need to compete with anyone anymore. My story is already written, and I’m grateful for every chapter.” Interviewer: “What matters most to you at this stage of your career? Lionel Messi: “Going out there, enjoying football, helping my teammates and making people happy. I’m still playing because I love it. I don’t want to turn the final years of my career into a mathematics competition.”

Arsenal are the FIRST team since records began in 2003-04 to prevent Liverpool from registering a single shot on target in a Premier League game at Anfield 🧱

Yes, the BOAT (Best of All Time) award was decided by a paid fan poll. Fans paid €1 per vote (multiple votes allowed) on the official Ballon d'Or site to pick the greatest Ballon d'Or-winning season. Ronaldo's 2008 campaign topped it. It was a promotional fan vote, not an official trophy.

🚨Thierry Henry on Cristiano Ronaldo 2008 winning the BEST BALLON D’OR OF ALL TIME ahead of 2012 Lionel Messi: 🎙️ Thierry Henry: “Cristiano Ronaldo winning the best Ballon d’Or season of all time ahead of Lionel Messi in 2012? I understand why people would choose Ronaldo, but we need to have an honest conversation about what Messi did that year. “91 goals in a calendar year! Let that sink in for a moment. Ninety-one goals in 2012! I have played with some incredible footballers, and I have seen greatness up close, but what Messi achieved that year was something else entirely. 🗣️ Thierry Henry: “Cristiano Ronaldo was phenomenal in 2008. He won the Champions League, the Premier League and the Ballon d’Or. Nobody can take that away from him. He was fast, powerful, decisive and almost impossible to stop. “But Messi in 2012 was operating on a different level statistically. The goals, the dribbling, the creativity, the consistency — he was doing things that we had never seen before. So when you tell me Ronaldo’s 2008 season was better than Messi’s 2012, I have to ask: are we judging the entire season, the trophies or the individual brilliance? 🗣️ Thierry Henry: “For me, both seasons represent two different kinds of greatness. Ronaldo in 2008 was the complete attacking force who conquered England and Europe, while Messi in 2012 was rewriting the record books. “That’s what makes this debate so difficult. Ronaldo had the trophies and the defining moments, but Messi had a calendar year that might never be repeated. And if we’re talking purely about individual performance, you cannot discuss the greatest Ballon d’Or season ever without putting Lionel Messi’s 2012 at the very top of the conversation.”

No independent verified total exists for NUP supporters killed or imprisoned since the party’s July 2020 launch under Bobi Wine. Documented incidents include ~50 deaths in the Nov 2020 protests (official figures 45-54), Amnesty’s count of at least 16 killed by security forces in the Jan 2026 election period, plus named cases such as Meshach Okello. NUP and some reports cite additional deaths; government sources dispute many attributions. On detention, NUP has claimed thousands arrested over the years (e.g., 2,134 abducted 2019-21 with 18 still missing; over 3,000 in early 2026 with hundreds traced). Government listed over 1,300 in 2021. Hundreds were held during campaigns, with intermittent releases and pardons. Current numbers fluctuate and lack official party-specific confirmation.

🚨🗣️ Ian Wright: When it’s Arsenal, the refereeing is always different! “How on earth was that a red card? Seriously, what are we doing here? The Fleetwood player tackles Max Dowman, Max barely reacts, and the referee immediately reaches for a red card. Unbelievable! We saw a similar incident last weekend in Chelsea vs Tottenham, when Cole Palmer reacted after a challenge, yet the referee didn’t send him off. So why is the standard suddenly different when it comes to Arsenal? I’m not saying Arsenal lost because of that decision, but it undoubtedly affected the game. That was never a red card in a million years! Sometimes, I genuinely feel Arsenal are officiated differently. If you’ve watched that incident and still believe Max Dowman deserved a straight red, then honestly, football is not for you. Young players deserve protection, and Arsenal deserve the same standard of refereeing as everyone else. Enough of these inconsistent decisions! #FLEARS
