🏐 CONGRATULATIONS Marc Callari!!! Tonight’s 25-17, 25-14, 25-12 victory over Greece Athena was the 500th in his 31 seasons as coach at Irondequoit! He joins only a handful of girls volleyball coaches in Section V history to reach that milestone. A physical education teacher at IHS who grew up in Spencerport and attended (and played baseball) at SUNY Cortland, Callari has built the Eagles into a perennial power. IHS is 14-0 this fall, 11-0 league and ranked 10th in the state. Some notables: * 10 Section V championships * 17 Monroe County division titles * 4-time All-Greater Rochester Coach of the Year * 2008 Class AA state championship * NYS Final Four appearances in 2008, 2019 & 2022 * Previous milestone wins: #200 in 2008, #300 in 2014, #400 in 2021 Stats leaders from the match: - Brynnleigh Fischer 17 Kills & 3 Aces - Camryn Drader 33 Assists, 6 Digs & 3A - Gia Meeks 12K & 3D - Sophia DeRouen 9K & 2 Blocks - Aleah Nolan 8D, 4 Assists & 3A The Eagles host their Senior Night tomorrow at 6:30 p.m. vs. Wayne.
