When will the ND-Miami game appear on the @accnetwork? Checking the listings and not seeing it.

Talked about my 80% résumé (SOR, Résumé SP+), 20% quality (SP+, FPI) computer rankings mix in the Sunday column. The CFP committee is FAR more skewed toward the SEC than the computers. 2.6 spots per team, on average. Good lord.

I was one of Brewers manager Pat Murphy’s P.E. students at Notre Dame in 1987-88, and I can tell you that this excerpt from @TylerKepner‘s article is 100% true:

60 years ago looks pretty familiar this time of year. Today's a good one for some yard clean-up and a cold Red Eye chaser. #tbt

Here is (part) of Central Michigan head coach Matt Drinkall's quote in opposition to the proposed 24-team College Football Playoff:

The most idiotic talking point about the expanded Playoff is that it will lead to better non-conference scheduling. No coach in America is gonna see a postseason format that requires them to play up to FIVE ADDITIONAL GAMES and think “let’s make our regular season more grueling.”
Bingo. Completely laughable that these coaches and ADs are suddenly going to develop the urge to challenge themselves after spending years going in the other direction. Is Lincoln Riley magically going to find courage?

"A 45-yarder for Colorado to shock the nation with an upset of No. 4 Oklahoma. It's on its way....GOOD! GOOD! COLORADO WINS!"
"What a moment, Todd! The good news for OU here is that despite the loss, a home playoff game is still firmly in their future. We'll see you next week!"
