We know we’ve been posting a lot of things that aren’t related to Kathryn, but there’s a greater reason behind it. We also know that many, perhaps even most, of you aren’t from Brazil, but our situation is critical and we need to talk about it. We’re in an election year, and we’re facing a major wave of far-right politics, closely tied to fascist ideas that promote hatred and violence, while also threatening the rights of women, black people, LGBTQIA+ people, and Indigenous peoples, as well as the rights to our own territory, including intentions to sell our land to foreign interests. For this reason, we will continue supporting the opposing side, President Lula, who is seeking re-election, until October 25, when we will know the results. We cannot and will not stay in silence. ❤️⭐
