WATCH: AG @dananessel apparently bailed on a fundraiser for Dan Mahoney after Michigan Rising filed a complaint against Mahoney's nonprofit for failing to comply with federal law.
But we see you filling in @SpeakerJoeTate 👀

For years, Jackson Mayor Dan Mahoney operated a nonprofit. But never once did he file appropriate forms to show where the money went.
We're asking the IRS to investigate.

Thank you for engaging the fight against shady and corrupted MEDC “deals” intertwined with PRC-based CCP-tied companies.
What does @QuentinMesserJr and the MEDC have to hide, and why are they hiding it?
We have seen this all before in the corrupted “deals” led by @GovWhitmer involving PRC-based and CCP-tied @Gotion48660 and @catl_official.
Apparently, in the Gotion matter, a small media outlet filed a FOIA with the MEDC and they said: “That will be $17,000, please!”

It's been months. At every turn @MEDC concealed public documents about how it spends our money & who benefits.
We've teamed up with @MackinacCenter to fight back, because it's time government worked for the people, not the other way around.

Do you suppose this has anything to do with MN Gov Tim Walz being picked as Dems' VP?
More shameless politicking from the taxpayer-paid pulpit by Lansing's top brass.
Because she has a book tour event in Martha's Vineyard & is collecting checks from vacationing elites for her PAC.
AKA, not remotely focused on being governor of Michigan.
If by "transformational" you mean "turned the US auto industry into a heaping pile of ruble," then yep.

It's a shame Michigan's Gretchen Whitmer and Dems took away workers' right to avoid paying dues to these corrupt union creeps.

Couple of things:
1. The need for this facility is premised on a massive growth in EV sales. The truth is, EV sales have flopped and the country's largest automaker (GM) just backed off it's aggressive all-electric standard, saying it will "let the market decide".
We're moving dirt at DTE’s new Trenton Channel Energy Center, the single largest energy storage project in the Great Lakes region 🔋
This will be able to store enough to power 40,000 homes, building on DTE’s position as Michigan’s largest producer of clean, reliable energy.

ALT Governor Gretchen Whitmer participates in a groundbreaking for DTE’s new battery facility in Trenton. She is joined by six other people, all of whom are holding shovels. From left to right, they are: Trenton Mayor Steven Rzeppa, DTE Vice Chairman and Group President Trevor Lauer, State Senator Darrin Camilleri, Representative Debbie Dingell, Governor Whitmer, DTE Energy CEO Jerry Norcia, and Wayne County Executive Warren Evans. In the background is various construction equipment used on-site.
