BREAKING NEWS: Vitalik states that @Pumpfun has killed memecoins by turning new retail investors entering the crypto space into degenerate gamblers. He also stated that @pumpfun has been a net negative to #crypto and #memecoins since it’s advent in 2024 by draining the $crypto ecosystem and turning first time retail #crypto enthusiasts into gamblers not investors. He notably said during the interview that #memecoins we’re better pre @pumpfun since we had SHIB, DOGE, PEPE, WIF, BONK etc the list goes on but since @pumpfun has taken a stranglehold on the #memecoin economy all we now see are 100k toppers on our timelines. Vitalik was visibly shaken and moved during the interview and he almost shed a tear 😢 Vitaliks concluding remark was that the @pumpfun platform is setup like a casino slot machine you keep clicking until your fully drained, and pump fun ultimately wins but retail loses the most.
