It turns out anglophones have an unlikely ally on two key issues: former @partiquebecois leader @JFLisee.

@JFLisee wrote an opinion piece in @LeDevoir, titled « Tirer des roches aux Anglais » (“Throwing rocks at the English”) denouncing the CAQ government’s refusal to grant @electionsquebec an exception, forcing it to comply with Bill 96 and send out unilingual documents.
“In the discussion about French and English, I’ve always felt that there were some proposals that were counterproductive and that basically were petty and that didn’t help French – or certainly not the conviviality between the anglos and francophones,” @JFLisee told @CTVMontreal.
