Michael Knowles: My problem with Pride Month is that pride is supposedly one of the greatest sins. Why do we need a special word for it when we could just accept that people live differently?
James Barr: Why are you calling it deviant or abhorrent? Why are you sexualising love so much?
Michael Knowles: Because gay relationships involve sex. The natural purpose of sex is between a man and a woman, which produces children.
James Barr: But Pride isn’t about sex. It’s about love. We’re not saying everyone is having sex with each other.
Michael Knowles: Have you seen Pride parades? There’s leather, spanking, and all sorts of things on display.
James Barr: Straight people do those things too!
Michael Knowles: We don’t have parades like that.
James Barr: Really? What kind of pornography do you watch, then? What are your kinks?
Michael Knowles: I don’t watch pornography.
James Barr: Never? Not even in college?
Michael Knowles: I might have seen a naked woman once or twice, but I don’t watch pornography.
James Barr: If you’re going to sexualise my community, I’m going to give it back to you!
Michael Knowles: The reason we call it deviant is that everything has a natural purpose. The eye is for seeing, a glass is for drinking, and sex is for relations between men and women that create children.
James Barr: Then why do men have a G-spot? Men have been having sex with men since ancient Rome!
Michael Knowles: I just want to clarify for the audience that I do not have a G-spot.
James Barr: You do! You and your wife should enjoy it!
Piers Morgan: Let me conclude by saying I have no problem with who you have sex with. You can have sex with whoever you want.
James Barr: It’s not about sex! It’s about who you love. You keep bringing it back to sex.
Piers Morgan: Whoever you love or want to marry, you have my support for the same rights I enjoy. I firmly believe that.
Michael Knowles: I completely disagree with that. I believe in your right to marry, Piers. I want you to have every right I have which is the right to marry a woman.
