THE LUSTER OF LIFE IS 87 ON A LIST????!!!!!!

11:28 PM, and I’m sitting here in my feelings. Getting this book out in the open was a lot more for me than just writing a book. I wanted to publish something as a way to finally fully embrace myself for who I am— quirkiness, faults, and talents. That means showing you something very, very personal to me. I used to be someone who was extremely uncomfortable in her own skin, as you’ll see in my book as you read about Florence. I think we all go through periods in our lives when we’re afraid to be ourselves, and even more afraid to lean on others and trust them with our battle scars. The Luster of Life is a book all about acceptance of one’s self, accepting and processing grief, and the acceptance of love from other people. To let yourself simply be what you are, faults, pains, and beauty, is to let those meant for you be the ones to love you and be around you. That’s what this book means to me, and why it’s so important for me to share it with all of you. I just can’t get over how thankful I am to have all of you here with me, celebrating all the craziness that has been my release week so far. There is more to come, but from the bottom of my heart, thank you. Thank you for being here, and thank you for accepting me as I show you the rawest part of myself in the form of a book.

It’s been a single day and my husband has already yapped so much at his work that he’s gotten a book club in Youngstown to read my book next month!! We love a supportive king!! 👑 He’s too good to me.
