Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson will be the first Black woman to serve on the US Supreme Court after receiving enough vote in the Senate on Thursday to secure her confirmation. Despite being confirmed, Jackson won't be sworn until Associate Justice Stephen Bryer retires this summer.
