Happy National Ag Day! Did you know that less than 6 cents of food dollars spent go to farmers?
One way to promote ag is to help teach our children how their food is grown. I have a list of ag accurate books that share information about their food. bit.ly/4sYnfvc

Farmers across America are looking at a 4th consecutive year of operating losses. This is a massive blow to the farm economy, and @SpeakerJohnson has the power to change that. Pass year-round E15 today to show farmers you're serious about American prosperity.
So thankful for barns to help keep our pigs warm, especially for the next few days. Expected temperatures to reach minus -20 degrees, with it feeling like -40 degrees due to winds.
The unfortunate part? We have to go outside in the frigid weather to take care of them. At least we can bundle up. But this is what we do.
Have done this for over 50 years.

🚨BREAKING: President Trump says they are going to REMOVE the environmental restrictions on farm equipment in the United States.
"IT'S RIDICULOUS!"
"Farming equipment has gotten too expensive, and a lot of the reason is that they put environmental excesses on the equipment, which don't do a DAMN thing except make it complicated and impractical."
"We are also going to give the tractor companies, John Deere, and companies that make equipment, we will TAKE-OFF the environmental restrictions that we have on machinery. It is ridiculous!"

Many farm related suicides in 2026.
I was in a conversation recently where I was told “one of those farmer had tried multiple times before”.
Two points to ponder:
1. That person suffered for a long time in a rural area with some, but strained resources.
2, I could clearly hear the stigma of it being a suicide in the discussion.
We can change that.

Can I just say that all these emission controls on farm equipment cost farmers a lot of money, especially when they fail. The emission controls will shut our equipment down when the actual machinery mechanicals are working properly. We use our harvest combines 3 weeks a year. Why is this necessary? And when it fails, everything comes to a halt. #harvest25
