Three thrillers. One film producer. History's best-kept secrets. Yamashita's gold in the Philippines. A stolen kidnap insurance list in Malta. Romanov treasure and a Nevada crime family. Each book stands alone. Which would you read first?
In very good company here. Thank you, Aspects of Crime. Six crime thrillers, six very different worlds, from Washington to wartime Europe. Which would you pick first?

Finished copies always look better than you imagine. Congratulations, @AJAberford Part 2 of the trilogy is out on 27 October. Humour, mystery and Yorkshire. What’s not to like
Before thrillers, I worked with Jim Henson. Here we are many years ago, over a cup of tea. He was one of the most creative and kindest people I’ve ever met and lucky enough to work with. Were you a Muppets fan growing up?

Weekend reading question. What thriller are you reading right now, and is it keeping you up past midnight? I’ll reply to every one, and I’ll read the best recommendation next.
My last car was a very special Pagoda restomod. But my favourite drive of all time? An Eagle Lightweight E-Type on Mulholland Drive at dawn. What’s yours? The car, the road, or both?

Overnight, the Nevada crime family took an early lead. Polls are still open. Philippine gold, a Maltese data vault, or the Romanovs’ missing artifacts: where would you start?
