On November 2, 2020, we lost some of our brightest students. From humble backgrounds, they had overcome enormous challenges to reach Kabul University. They were among the best in their classes, just months away from graduation, with so much to look forward to.
Terrorism stole their lives and shattered their families’ dreams. ISK took responsibility. But the same terror ideology that rules the country today.
Six years later, the pain remains. This country has failed, time and again, to protect its best children.
PS: A day after the attack on Kabul University, I went to the Policy and Public Administration school and took these pictures from their University Admission files.

This is Taraneh Alidoosti. The actress who represented Iranian cinema to the world, the star of the film that won the Oscar. What did she do? She posted one photo without the hijab during Woman Life Freedom uprising in 2022 to show her solidarity with the People of Iran .
That is all. She said no to executions, no to the crackdown. That same week they came to her home and took her to Evin prison. When she was released, she was no longer the same Taraneh. Doctors diagnosed her with a rare illness that made her skin fall off and ravaged her body. She is still under treatment.
They say it was caused by drug interaction. Which drugs? What did they give her in that prison? No one answers. Today this photo is going viral across Iran because people want to see the price of one photo without hijab. To the regime it was just a photo.
To us, Taraneh is a woman who gave up everything: her career, her cinema, her health. And even now, in silence, mourning her father, she has not bowed. Taraneh, you did not just remove the hijab. You tore off their mask. We are your voice.

Selon nos informations, la France a répondu favorablement à la demande des talibans en mettant fin, le 9 octobre, à l’accréditation de l’Ambassadeur d’Afghanistan en France, Humayun Azizi, qui n’était pas en odeur de sainteté auprès du régime afghan actuel. Humayun Azizi était en poste depuis 2020, soit avant la prise de pouvoir des talibans.

#فوری | خانوادههای #امیرحسین_ملکی و #ابوالفضل_ابراهیمی، از معترضان پرونده میدان علیخانی اصفهان، امروز برای آخرین ملاقات به زندان فراخوانده شدند. خطر اجرای حکم اعدام این دو جوان در ساعات یا روزهای آینده بسیار جدی است.
احکام اعدام در روندی همراه با شکنجه، اعترافات اجباری و نقض فاحش دادرسی عادلانه صادر شدهاند.
از ۱۹ ژوئیه تاکنون، ۷ متهم دیگر این پرونده، از جمله دو شهروند افغانستان، اعدام شدهاند؛ تقریباً هر دو هفته یک نفر! حتی وکلای مدافع متهمان نیز تحت تعقیب قرار گرفته و یا بازداشت شدهاند.
دیوان عالی کشور درخواست فرجامخواهی سه متهم دیگر، شروین باقریان، امیرحسین ابراهیمی و علی دشتی را نیز رد کرده است.
این اعدامها بخشی از کارزار سازمانیافته جمهوری اسلامی برای ایجاد رعب و وحشت در جامعه و خاموشکردن صدای اعتراض است.
اکنون تنها فشار بینالمللی میتواند مانع این اعدامها شود. از جامعه جهانی، بهویژه کشورهایی که با جمهوری اسلامی روابط دیپلماتیک دارند، میخواهیم فوراً برای توقف این اعدامها و نجات جان سایر محکومان اقدام کنند. #نه_به_اعدام

Three detainees from Iran’s January 2026 protests have been sentenced to death in Mashhad on charges of “moharebeh.” HRANA has identified one as 23-year-old Matin Farnian. All three are held in Vakilabad Prison.
