Congrats Jake on winning your last game of High School Hockey, the coveted Beaumont Hamel Tournament. With us away, thanks to family for being there, especially your 83 year old nan who just won a huge battle herself. Thanks @ODHockey coaches/trainers for everything.
Jake’s final game of minor hockey ends today with provincial gold for his @MtPearlBlades U18A team. Thanks to Coaches Darrell and Dave Walsh, manager Sherri Walsh, you are awesome volunteers. Thanks as well to his biggest fan and awesome hockey mom. Will miss the 2007 group.

What a great bunch of young female athletes.They come from at least 12 different communities, they became friends, and came together to collect 2 wins, 1 tie and 2 losses and an exciting bronze medal winning game. Thanks to @hockeynl1935 for another amazing coaching experience.
Congrats to our @WSUballhockey U15 Team on winning @NLBallHockey provincials today. Fun group of kids to work with over the long weekend. Also, great job to our U11 Team on winning silver, bright ball hockey future for this team in its first provincials.

Nice to see Shane in @MtPearlBlades colors, wore the C for my Team NL U19 ball hockey team in 2022. One of many Labrador West kids I've coached, team players, great kids.
Shane Delaney was named the @NLGrowlers Player of the Game in the Blades 3-1 win over Paradise tonight.
Delaney walked us through the game and talked about what to expect from the Blades going into the playoffs.

There is a big milestone on the 27th for one NL hockey legend that I very much admire. This month’s posts will be dedicated to the great hockey career of George Faulkner, who was born on December 27, 1933 in Bishop’s Falls.
