Ever wonder why people say Islam isn't functionally compatible with Western civilization? Here you go....
Here are primary Quranic verses and well-authenticated Hadiths that conflict with core Western liberal norms (individual autonomy, gender equality under law, secular free speech, adult consent, non-violence toward apostates/blasphemers, equal evidentiary weight, and rejection of corporal/capital penalties for private sexual or religious offenses). Translations are standard (Sahih International / Yusuf Ali style). Context and classical tafsirs (Ibn Kathir, Tabari, Qurtubi) treat most of these as ongoing legal or moral rulings, not purely historical.
Gender roles, testimony, inheritance, polygamy, and physical discipline
Quran 4:34: “Men are in charge of women by [right of] what Allah has given one over the other and what they spend [for maintenance] from their wealth. So righteous women are devoutly obedient, guarding in [the husband’s] absence what Allah would have them guard. But those [wives] from whom you fear arrogance—[first] advise them; [then if they persist], forsake them in bed; and [finally], strike them. But if they obey you [once more], seek no means against them.”
Classical rulings permit non-severe striking for nushuz (disobedience). This is incompatible with Western norms of equal partnership and zero tolerance for domestic violence.
Quran 2:282: In financial contracts, “if there are not two men [witnesses], then a man and two women from those whom you accept as witnesses—so that if one of the women errs, then the other can remind her.”
Women’s testimony is half-weight in commercial/legal matters under traditional fiqh.
Quran 4:11: Inheritance: “for the male, what is equal to the share of two females.” Daughters receive half the share of sons in the same degree of kinship.
Quran 4:3: “Marry those that please you of [other] women, two or three or four. But if you fear that you will not be just, then [marry only] one…”
Polygyny (up to four wives) is explicitly permitted for men; polyandry is not.
Sexual offenses and homosexuality
Quran 24:2: “The [unmarried] woman or [unmarried] man found guilty of sexual intercourse—lash each one of them with a hundred lashes, and do not be taken by pity for them in the religion of Allah…”
Classical law adds stoning (rajm) for married adulterers on the basis of Hadith and the “lost” verse of stoning.
Sahih Bukhari 6829 / Muslim 1691 (and parallel collections): The Prophet ordered stoning of married adulterers (e.g., the cases of Ma’iz and the Ghamidi woman).
These are among the most rigorously authenticated hudud reports.
Quran 7:80–81 / 26:165–166 (Lot’s people) and related Hadiths (e.g., Abu Dawud 4462, Ibn Majah 2561): Male homosexual acts are described as abomination; traditional schools prescribe death (stoning or throwing from a height) for the active/passive partners in cases meeting evidentiary thresholds.
Apostasy, blasphemy, and treatment of non-Muslims
Quran 4:89: “They wish you would disbelieve as they disbelieved so you would be alike. So do not take from among them allies until they emigrate… But if they turn away, then seize them and kill them wherever you find them…”
Classical consensus (ijma‘) holds the death penalty for adult male apostates who leave Islam after accepting it.
Sahih Bukhari 6922: “Whoever changed his Islamic religion, then kill him.” (Narrated by Ibn Abbas; also in multiple collections.)
Quran 9:29: “Fight those who do not believe in Allah or in the Last Day and who do not consider unlawful what Allah and His Messenger have made unlawful and who do not adopt the religion of truth from those who were given the Scripture—[fight] until they give the jizyah willingly while they are humbled.”
People of the Book are to be fought until they accept subordinate status and pay the poll tax.

My post about France went viral. Thousands of likes. Many Americans told me: "Democrats aren't socialists. America will never be France." I want to answer that seriously, step by step.
Start with a simple observation. Look at what has gotten cheaper in America over the last 25 years: TVs, phones, software, clothes, toys. Now look at what has exploded: college tuition, healthcare, childcare, housing.
What separates the two lists? The first lives in competitive markets. The second is exactly where government is most involved: subsidies, mandates, licensing, zoning, regulation.
College. Washington lends students almost unlimited money. Universities know the money will always come, so they raise tuition and hire more administrators. The student pays the bill for twenty years. More government money, higher prices.
Housing. Why can't a nurse buy a home in the city where she works? Not because of capitalism. Because of zoning laws, permits, environmental reviews, years of procedure to build a single building. The most expensive places to live in America are the places where it's hardest to build. When building is nearly illegal, prices explode.
Healthcare. The patient almost never sees the price. A third party pays, regulations limit who can compete, and costs climb year after year with no one able to say no.
So here is the trap. The problems you suffer from are not the failure of free markets. They are the places where the market has already been replaced by the state. And the solution you're being offered is more of the same.
That's the Trojan horse. It always works the same way. A real problem. A generous-sounding promise. A program that makes things worse. Then the failure of that program becomes the argument for the next one. People who lived under communism in Poland learned to recognize the lie and the mask the lie wears. The lie never presents itself as a lie. It presents itself as compassion.
In France we are at the end of that road. Debt we can never repay. Young people who can't afford a home. Our best people leaving. And every few years our cities burn. Nobody voted for this. They voted for one more generous promise, fifty years in a row.
If you're a Republican, share this with the Democrat in your life. Not to win an argument. To start a conversation.
If you're a Democrat, I'm not asking you to switch teams. I'm asking you to look at the pattern. Wherever the state took over, life became unaffordable. Don't fix the failures of government with more government.
Stay American. Ask for less state, not more.

TikTok has banned my documentary that starts with me getting my life threatened outside a mosque in NYC. This marks the 4th documentary of mine that they've banned while it exists on YouTube, X, and Instagram.
There's an app that 170 million Americans use where you can't show the realities of Islam or socialism but people are free to criticize Christianity and capitalism.
My documentary had 1 million views and then it was gone from the platform. It was removed for no other reason than "community guidelines." China is ensuring young people can't get the truth in the US.
If you look at my TikTok demos and YouTube demos, you can clearly see that younger people are on TikTok and it's more than enough to make the difference in any election. It would be naive to assume candidates like AOC can’t be president when they effectively have a state media propaganda platform that more than half of America is on.
I will not give up and look into this as best as I can. I’ve heard from or verified up to 40 other pro west creators with a combined reach of over 20 billion views a year that have all been censored or banned on TikTok. Right now I simply want to show that this is a huge systematic issue. The best way to help is to subscribe to pro west creators on X.
This platform is the last stronghold of free speech, treat it with love and care. Mainstream democrats want to "regulate social media for failing to police hate speech." Next time you think healthcare is ever “free”, realize that it is, in fact, not free when you are paying with your life.
Most of my life I grew up in a country with socialized healthcare.
To get a family doctor you literally have to know someone in the hospital to hopefully get you in and get you a prescription or a visit.
People wait months for needed surgeries just like this woman. And for specialists the wait is even longer, very often waiting years.
And not only do you pay crazy amounts for taxes so that the state can give out “free”healthcare, most people where I grew up, also end up paying for private insurance simply because we cannot get anything done in the public healthcare system.
Nothing is for free, and people’s lives deserve far more than falling victim to stupid bureaucracy and government inefficiency
