At 12, he's not the biggest kid. But I don't think he has much speed left that he's not tapping into.

Guilty. But a word of explanation: there are a lot of us that say we want to improve (and we do!), but we also gain a lot of satisfaction from tinkering, learning, and exploring. Paradoxically: I could focus on the right things, get better, and enjoy it less.
One of the hardest things for me to reconcile in my head is that… The golfers who are most eager to improve are also the ones who end up spending years wasting their time on things that don’t matter or move the needle.

I hate garbage officiating. Even when it helps my team.

I love Dan Campbell. I defend Dan Campbell. He's overwhelmingly making choices that the analytics nerds would endorse. But I can't defend that one.

Or, maybe Dan Campbell just knows that Green Bay can't kick.

This would totally do bonkers numbers in Lancaster County, except
I fear we are losing the plot

On a deload week (I cut the weight of all my lifts in half). But figured it would be a good time to try out deficit deadlifts, which I'll be incorporating to get stronger at breaking the ground with my heavy deadlifts.

From face on. I still see elements of Johnny Miller, Bubba Watson, and Justin Thomas in his swing, in a blend that he's made his own.
I can't play today, but I can caddie.

Last Friday, I slightly pulled a muscle in my lower front left ribcage area doing weighted pull ups. This week, highs in the 60s every day. Could be the last nice week of the year, before the course closes for the six month UP winter. Just tried a gentle swing: nope. Sadness.

Golf swing feels are subjective, but they’re also temporary. Eventually, a feel that once worked will lose its effectiveness. That doesn’t mean you need to completely change your swing goals or ideas. It simply means that you need a new way to connect to the same objective. The goal stays the same. The feel evolves. Great players constantly adapt their feels to keep progressing. Because no feel lasts forever!

Unexpected benefit of low bar back squats: they demand a good amount of shoulder flexion—also a good thing in the golf swing.
