After a light snow event today thru early Thurs. A warm-up due to an approaching Atmospheric River is expected by the end of this coming weekend. Max and min temps above freezing for most valleys, combined with rain, will lead to increased ponding on area roadways. #MTwx #IDwx

A severe thunderstorm watch has been issued for parts of Idaho and Montana until 9 PM MDT – at Montana, USA

The Red Cross has opened a shelter for residents evacuating from the Mormon Creek RD. fire near Lolo, MT. This shelter is located at the Cold Springs Elementary School at 2625 Briggs St, in Missoula.
