The fact that Obama still steps on a court with the best athletes in the world tells you everything about his mentality. Most former presidents fade into irrelevance. This man stays culturally relevant without even trying. That’s a different kind of power.

Ant Edwards. President Barack Obama.
It began at Team USA Training camp and turned into a game of one-on-one we didn’t know we needed.

#BlackHistoryMonth: In 1975, several members of the Jackson State University Sonic Boom of the South formed the group “Freedom”. They were signed by Malaco Records in 1979. The group’s song “Get Up and Dance” has been sampled by more than 40 musical artists and included in numerous scores and soundtracks. The song is one of the most referenced in the early years of the Hip-Hop genre.

Martin Luther King Jr. understood better than almost anyone that racial justice and economic justice are inextricably intertwined. Watch his powerful call to end poverty from his final Sunday Sermon.

.@GovPritzker: “They've done something even more insidious: they've decided to shut down the SNAP machines so that they can't be used. So even if we were to put money into SNAP accounts, they couldn't be accessed by someone who has a SNAP card.”

BREAKING: In an incredible speech, Mallory McMorrow just revealed how Trump is illegally cutting SNAP. Every American needs to see this.

I was not expecting this. It’s been less than a day — and already tens of thousands of Americans have signed up at DEFIANCE.org.
People are less afraid than I thought.
I guess that means the White House should be more afraid than it is.

Travis Hunter just wants to play ball. The young man doesn’t drink, party, or do any dumb sh*t. You still got folks finding reasons to be mad about things like baptism. Those same people loved Tim Tebow and admonished anyone criticizing him as someone who abhorred his outward love for Christ.
Dude, you think players sit around meditating all dang morning before games? Hunter does it the right way, & I hope he keeps being him. Anyone who had an issue with that is a fool!

BREAKING: JB Pritzker just perfectly explained why Donald Trump is going after only blue states and not red states. This is a must watch.

Brandon Johnson: "He has defunded our education system. He has defunded our transportation system. He is firing black women across this country. He's defunding our healthcare system. This president is absolutely out of control. If there was ever a time for working people to unite in this country, now is that time. The city of Chicago is going to stand firm in protecting humanity and in protecting and defending our democracy."

Kyren Lacy was innocent! He was railroaded, set up, & lied on. They took his joy, his career, & eventually his life.
