I heard him say every Black person should give $5 to an HBCU and almost fell into a depression, because it’s obvious he’s just winging it. This is a recipe for us remaining STUCK debating one wild hot take after another. Meanwhile ADOSAF already has an education agenda—as part of our black agenda—which includes HBCUs, but these people don’t want organized political action. They want content. It’s maddening.

I show up trying to look respectable BECAUSE I respect the people I’m talking to—MY PEOPLE. These are the people I SERVE. They deserve a fit. Why should I give CNN a better outfit than my own people??I believe how I show up matters. And I’m not saying anyone needs to wear a suit like I do. It could absolutely be something more laid back and relaxed. It’s also true that if I showed up like him instead of like this (👇) people would trash me.
