There’s an English teaching job going at my incredible school is South Kensington - flexible whether full time or 0.8. An extremely supportive team - every day is fabulous!

Fancy working in a school where our students are brilliant, genuinely happy staff, SLT are supportive, two free coffees a day and have a dog! Come and work for my fantastic school (SE London) as a Teacher of English. We also have some TLR opps! RT plz!

The government have totally misread the levels of public support for the different strikes taking place which is why they're desperately trying to switch the narrative back to their vile immigration policies. Your problem, @RishiSunak, is that we can all see through you.

Well, this is a bit marvellous! 😍
@neilhimself reads Dickens' "A Christmas Carol", as Dickens intended it be read, with all the brilliance you might imagine!

Answer this without looking it up:
Who is the present Secretary of State for Education?
Pause.
Did you think you knew and were right?
Did you think you knew but were wrong?
Did you have no idea?
Do you not know and don't care?
You are the Secretary of State but didn't know?

If you didn’t make a single change to teacher salaries but sorted behaviour, workload and silly pressure - you’d retain teachers. You could have offered me £500 a day when I worked in a truly toxic school to stay, I still would have left. I did, with no job to go to.

100% this. We’re not helping teens by catastrophising/panicking/giving kids a sense of being ‘special’ by medicalising normal emotions. telegraph.co.uk/news/2022/11…

A friend of mine is looking for secondary teaching jobs in North Wales and TES doesn’t seem to cover that area very much. Any ideas where she should look please? Thanks in advance! #TeamEnglish #Litdrive
