82% of graduates from teaching health center programs continue to work in primary care. At @UnityHealthCare more than 55% of our residents stayed at Unity to practice primary care and stay with their patients and community. #THCGME @WrightCenterGME @NFMResidency_DC
The teaching health center training model works but we need reauthorization from Congress for more $$ per resident and an increase in the timeline for funding to sustain programs. #THCGME
So proud of our resident, Dr. Silberstein and her testimony at HRSA about the importance of training at a teaching health center #THCGME
A great day to advocate for reauthorization of teaching health center GME with the @WrightCenterGME team. #THCGME residents provide more than 1 million primary care medical visits in 2023 to underserved communities.

Primary health care is about the nexus of these relationships. You can't achieve whole health, wellness, and prevention without these integrated components. #primarycare #IntlPHCconf

Insightful blog post from @AHuffstetler on where we stand with primary care. How is it that only 0.2% of NIH budget covers a clinical service that is the majority of healthcare in the country? BONKERS. primarycarecentersroundtable…
However, as a followup to my last tweet, I need to also show how great the day was. I got to do a knee injection, toenail removal, see a pt for preventative care after he was released from prison after 19 yrs, place an IUD, and treat major depression. Oh the glory of family med!
