NFEnergy no puede impedir la entrada de otras barcazas por 14 días. Es un TRO y un magistrado (Magistrate Judge) verá el injunction preliminar. Y se emitió sin vista ni se le dio oportunidad a NFEnergy a objetar.
⚖️ El juez federal Pedro A. Delgado-Hernández le concedió a la AEE una orden de entredicho provisional contra NFEnergia (New Fortress), en medio del riesgo de que se acabe el gas natural en el terminal de San Juan.
⛽ El barco Amur River, la única reserva de gas del terminal, estaba proyectado a vaciarse esta madrugada. Desde que llegó el 13 de octubre, NFE solo le ha suplido gas a la Unidad 6 de San Juan y no a la 5, sin contestar los pedidos de información de la AEE ni avisar cuándo llega el próximo barco.
📋 En 24 horas, NFE tiene que informar por escrito cuánto gas queda en el barco, cuándo llega el próximo y si sus facilidades están disponibles para recibir gas de un tercero. También debe designar a un representante localizable en todo momento y, en 72 horas, entregar sus procedimientos de operación del terminal.
🚫 La orden le prohíbe a NFE bloquear o atrasar la entrada de gas de otro suplidor, y no puede condicionarla a que la AEE pague facturas en disputa. Ya hay un suplidor listo para empezar con entregas en camiones en un día y por barco en 3 a 20 días.
⚡ El juez concluyó que sin gas natural las unidades tendrían que quemar diésel, lo que reduce su capacidad en cerca de un 10% y aumenta el riesgo de averías. Para el tribunal, eso pone en juego la confiabilidad del sistema eléctrico. La orden vence en 14 días y la AEE debe prestar una fianza de $1,000.

Lo que no informó la prensa es que el caso se pasó a un Magistrado para que vea el injunction sobre la entrada de otras barcazas al muelle. Esto es el meollo de la petición así que habrá que ver si se concede esta solicitud
El Juez Pedro Delgado emitió informe Temporary Restraining Order ordenando a NFEnergy a proveer información a PREPA. Esto se hizo sin vista y sin oportunidad a NFEnergy de oponerse. Ordenó además el ni impedir acceso a otras barcazas. Esto dura 14 días
El 28 de octubre de 2026, el TSPR decidió el caso de Velazquez Feliciano Velazquez Feliciano donde impusieron sanciones a los demandados por utilizar escritos hechos con inteligencia artificial quienes comparecieron por derecho propio.

Sergeant Reali was assigned as a Civil Affairs Specialist in 448th Civil Affairs Battalion while supporting Operation IRAQI FREEDOM.

Today I am Remembering Aaron Merritt
12 years ago today, Aaron passed away at the VA hospital in Nashville, TN. He had been put on a medication that required regular blood work to monitor toxicity levels. Those tests were not done.
By the time he arrived at the VA hospital on 27 October 2014, it was already too late. He died the next day of sepsis. Had those tests occurred regularly, he would still be alive.
Merritt deployed multiple times in his Army Career, twice as an Explosive Ordnance Disposal Technician. He was decorated twice for Valor.
He was my first team mate in EOD, and he taught me a lot. He kept me alive. When he finally exited the Army, we were all excited for him; Aaron was a magnet for combat. We were sure if he stuck around in the Army he would be killed in action.
Instead his death happened in the States, alone in a VA hospital room.
His family sued the VA. Although they never admitted to anything, they settled for 2.5 million dollars.
Aaron was a great dude with quick wit and a sharpe sense of humor.
He deserved better.

A Coffee Toast in Memory of our Brother, Senior Chief Petty Officer(SEAL) Chad Michael Wilkinson.
Lest we Forget.
On October 29, 2018, Chad took his life.
While approaching his 21st year active duty and experiencing multiple combat deployments, his body and his mind had taken too much.
Following his death, his family donated his brain to science and would later learn he suffered from interface astroglial scarring.
This scarring is similar to the more readily heard chronic traumatic encephalopathy (CTE). However, interface astroglial scarring is specific to our veterans in that it doesn’t necessarily occur with physical contact or trauma but rather blast waves they are exposed to in both training and combat.
This scarring is makes its way into our military due to excessive exposure to blast wave injury experienced in both training and combat.

Today but in 2009 Army Spc. Adrian L. Avila took his last breath serving during Operation Iraqi Freedom from injuries sustained from a noncombat-related accident.
Fellow soldiers remember a great kid who would get excited about a car he had seen online or a gun he had just seen. But he was best known for going out at night and hunting scorpions to keep himself busy.

At an age when a little girl should have been playing with dolls, holding her mother’s hand and discovering the wonders of childhood, Lidia was imprisoned behind the barbed wire of Auschwitz-Birkenau.
Her family’s crime? Resisting the Nazis.
Her punishment? Eighteen months in a world where children were treated not as human beings, but as objects for medical experimentation.
