Nothing will be learned.
Nothing will change.
Everything will continue exactly as before.

A man brandishing a knife approached a woman and sexually assaulted her inside Central Park near East 67th Street and Fifth Avenue around 8:30 p.m.
The woman was rushed to an area hospital where she is listed in stable condition.
[Look at how keenly intent we are on catching the "thug": We even described his clothing!]
The armed thug fled the scene wearing a black sweatshirt and pants with a black backpack.
No arrests have been made as of Saturday night.

Happy Birthday , Bill! @bill_wyman ! We love you 💜
New favorite song - I Could Save The World by @donnieviemusic .Listen to the lyrics. This man is brilliant , with all the right influences. Highly recommend his album , Beautiful Things.
So sad to hear this. Aside from being a legendary player , Ron was a great supporter and friend to our Policeman’s Ball and the organizations it represents , and we honored him a couple of years ago. Deservedly so. Deepest condolences to his loved ones.
The New York Rangers organization mourns the loss of Ron Duguay, one of the most popular players in franchise history. Ron's signature skating style - with his hair flowing as he moved down the ice - captivated The Garden Faithful, and his skill, tenacity, and charisma earned him the admiration of all New Yorkers. We join the hockey community in sending our condolences to Ron's friends, family, and loved ones during this difficult time.

Evil detests beauty because beauty is proof of a transcendental order, of objective Goodness and Truth.
To attack beauty is to wage war against the possibility of transcendence.
Beauty is a great affront to nihilism. It testifies to that which is greater than the individual, because to create a beautiful thing is to acknowledge that you are answerable to standards higher than your own. Beauty is often called a great evangelist for this reason.
This is why they outright destroy beauty or try to subvert your perception of it by promoting ugliness or triviality. Beauty is neither neutral nor trivial — your ability to discern the beautiful from the ugly is intimately connected to your capacity to recognize the divine.
Dietrich von Hildebrand once declared that "beauty is the archenemy of mediocrity." Why?
Beauty elevates a person toward truth, goodness, and the divine. The antitheses to beauty drag the soul down into nihilism and worship of the self.

New York City has tripled its spending on street homelessness, yet more people are sleeping on our streets and subways than ever before.
Hundreds of millions of taxpayer dollars are being spent while vulnerable New Yorkers are left to suffer and the organizations receiving that money face little accountability.
This is a disgrace. We cannot keep throwing money at a broken system and calling it compassion.
And New York City isn’t alone. Even Comptroller DiNapoli says “The problem is widespread and it is not confined to major cities.”
As Attorney General, I will immediately investigate where the money is going, hold nonprofits and contractors accountable for fraud and abuse, and demand results. New Yorkers deserve answers, and those suffering on our streets deserve real help.

Just fight crime.
Make New York a place where every woman can feel safe walking our streets, riding the subway, and living her life.
Period.

I've gotten the endorsement of 42 sheriffs across New York. That's an overwhelming majority. That's stunning.
The current sheriffs of New York endorsed the challenger instead of the sitting attorney general, who they've worked with for eight years.
Fantastic interview ! 💜
What an absolute honor and privilege it was to have the iconic Darlene Love on the Spring-Nuts Cafe podcast last night. What a spectacular woman in every sense of the word. Her stories were inspiring and incredible. We had a ton of laughs and fun! Darlene even sang for us!
Here's a segment where Darlene talks about her history with @StevieVanZandt and @springsteen . How they met, how Stevie kept his promise to record her album, and how @MVZaGoGo is her go to in making sure everything is legit!

Learn to read. Wanting e-bikes out of the park does not mean I want the horse carriages there. My heart breaks for these horses. I have supported banning them FOR YEARS. I don’t care what you think of me but shut your mouth when it comes to pontificating on how I think or feel. @jonwalzzy
@MVZaGoGo You hate Mamdani, but I'm good with horses NOT dying in Central Park carrying fat tourists around in 95 degree heat. You've fallen way down in my list of people I admire. Your husband, on the other hand, is elite. I met you years ago and you were cool back then. 🤷
