Tonight, the American people sent a clear message — they want a politics that brings people together rather than divides them, and leaders who offer concrete solutions to the challenges they face. These results were only possible because outstanding candidates stepped forward in every region of the country — including in areas once considered long shots. They came from different backgrounds and represented a range of political perspectives, but were united by shared values, a belief in public service, and a commitment to putting the people of their districts and states first. We also owe a debt of gratitude to the thousands of election officials and volunteers from both parties who helped ensure a smooth election and carried out one of the most essential functions of our democracy. While this administration has another two years in office, our job now is to roll up our sleeves, make changes wherever we have the power to do so, prevent further damage, and lay the groundwork for the future.

This bill isn't just a compromise…it's the product of real, substantive trades policymakers made to get here. I said this many months ago: perfect can't be the enemy of good… and let's be clear: those trades weren't small. This isn't a deal Senators should be ‘settling for’ — it's a deal that they should stand behind. Senate: the world is watching and voters are watching. Now is the time to vote yes.
I’ve said many times that the CLARITY Act is essential to ensuring America wins the global race for new technology. That’s the reason Congress passed the GENIUS Act: to ensure that stablecoin infrastructure, a revolutionary financial technology, will be built in America. Ensuring that America’s community bank sector continues to thrive has been a constant focus of mine since day one. And the administration’s dual focus on enabling new digital technology to flourish and appropriately tailoring community bank regulation is key to both sectors driving U.S. economic growth together over the next several decades. The final draft of the CLARITY Act furthers this mission. It gives the Secretary of the Treasury additional authority to act if the facts around deposit flight change to the detriment of community banks. If stablecoins cause harm to community banks, I will not hesitate to use these tools to ensure they remain fully protected. Community banks are essential to U.S. economic performance and Main Street growth. Economic security is national security, and community banks play a major role in this principle.

NEW: Trump has agreed to let state AGs sue DOJ and crypto exchanges if he or future presidents violate the Clarity Act's restrictions, per text Senate Republicans released tonight. An aide called the text the party's "last, best and final offer on the Clarity Act to Democrats" ahead of Tuesday's vote, adding that "about 80%" of Tillis and Gallego's ethics proposal is reflected. Trump would still be able to choose whether to divest from his financial interests in crypto or place them in a blind trust, among other things. Other major changes in tonight's text include: - Narrowing BRCA to apply only to civil matters ("north of 90%" of what CCM wanted, per the aide) - Giving the Treasury secretary to ability to place restrictions on stablecoin yields if there is widespread deposit flight from community banks within 18 months of enactment

Growing up with a single mom in South Carolina, I learned that every dollar matters. The Clarity Act will protect hard-earned money, keep jobs and innovation in the United States, and strengthen national security. This final text further empowers law enforcement and gives the Treasury Secretary the tools to protect community banks, farmers, and rural Americans. It’s time to pass the Clarity Act.

This is a journalistic disgrace. A disgrace. Jury service is a sacrifice that many of us attempt to avoid. But jurors are essential, and neither the American criminal nor civil justice system can function without them. Moreover, the jury system provides a powerful protection for the criminally accused, as unanimity among jurors of diverse backgrounds and experiences is difficult to achieve. Holdout jurors are a feature of the American jury system, not a bug. For a media outlet—specifically Boston NBC 10—to expose the personal life of a private person merely because that individual honorably performed his civic duty and devoted weeks of his life to jury service is shameful. Who in their right mind will appear for jury service if they know they can be publicly humiliated and dragged just because some media outlet or finger-wagging mob believes they voted the “wrong” way? This disgraceful “reporting” by Boston NBC 10 is an attack on the foundation of the American justice system itself. Shame.

Let’s say this report by @SueOC_NBCBoston that will air on @NBC10Boston is accurate. Here’s the problem with it: Did Sue investigate the backgrounds of the 11 White jurors? Did she look into their financial history, their relationships with their families/friends? Employment history, etc? What led her to “investigate” the lone Black juror? Did she consider or is she planning to at a minimum look into the others? Would she have committed such time to investigating this juror’s past if he agreed with the other jurors? I highly doubt it, but would she? There is a very evident bias and lack of historical sensitivity that is both despicable and clearly steeped in racial prejudice.

Like always, a Black man is the voice of logic and sanity in a sea of unhinged emotions. This is why radical feminists and anti-Black misandrists are so invested in shutting us up.
NEW: Lindsay Clancy juror Paula Devlin reveals on 'CBS Mornings' that the lone, male holdout juror who voted to find Clancy guilty of murdering her children was the *only* person of color -- a black man. The 11 not-guilty jurors -- who hectored him for a week to cave -- were all white.

Now go back and listen to the way they talk about this Black man in their other interviews. He wouldn't hang out with us. He couldn't explain his reasoning to us. He wanted more explanation of "reasonable doubt" and we had to highlight it on a paper and explain it to him. He just didn't understand the process. In essence: Poor dumb Black guy just wouldn't do what he was told by us White liberals. Never mind that if he'd done what Lindsay Clancy did, he'd be locked away forever. Do you think that weighed on him at all? "The white liberal is the worst enemy to America and the Black man." - Malcolm X

A man objected to allowing a woman to kill her three young kids and get away with it, so NBC is trying to smear that juror, whose identity should be protected. Another low for legacy media. If the juror is being harassed, Florida will provide asylum — I’m sure he’d be welcomed and appreciated.
