To explore this data, go to motrpac-data.org/. Here you can download data, look at how exercise regulates your favorite genes/proteins/metabolites across tissues or interactively compare training-induced tissue- and sex-specific enrichments in your tissues of interest. /n

So amazing to see this preprint out - incredible work by the entire #MoTrPAC team and especially co-leads @nicolergay @DavidAm79279702 @PierreMichelJ10! Thanks to @NIH_CommonFund for continuing support
We are thrilled to share the preprint for the Molecular Transducers of Physical Activity Consortium’s (aka MoTrPAC) first major multi-omic multi-tissue exercise study and data resource! biorxiv.org/cgi/content/shor…

Importantly Mavacamten is first in class, with other sarcomere modulators in trials…we hope to learn more through clinical roll-out and PMA studies. Thanks to collaborators at MYOK and BMS. Thanks to Masataka Kawana and our clinical research team over the past 7 years…3/4

And of course huge thanks to the many patient participants here and elsewhere who have collectively volunteered years of their time to ensure data collected (including through the pandemic) continues to be high quality. 4/4

But we will have to see if there are any longer term unintended off target (both tissue and gene) effects that this prelim report don’t address. Reminder for TTR patients out there there are efficacious treatments approved and available, though cost is a real concern

Look forward to more data from the sponsors, academics and further trials in terms of in vivo genome scale edits across tissues
