This is a disingenuous viewpoint. What's happening is as follows:

It has no real meaning because they're all female. There is no such thing as male Asari and even their use of the word "father" in dual Asari pairings is translation convention. This isn't some point that's open for debate and discussion and if you'd played Mass Effect, you'd know that.
And no, Andromeda doesn't count and isn't canon. That's the final word.

So no, chuds, @bioware did not and was not "retconning" the Asari to use pronouns because they were going "woke". Liara explains to Shepard in the OG Mass Effect that she is "not precisely a woman". When she and other asari use feminine pronouns like "she" and "her," they do so primarily as an efficient means to ease communication and bridge the linguistic gap with gender-binary species (like humans, turians, and salarians) who rely heavily on those concepts.
But you're nothing but LARPers and tourists who have never ACTUALLY played any of the Mass Effect games, and just want to continue your diatribe about how "go woke, go broke".
