Happy #WorldWaterDay2026! | Water & Gender
Water and gender are central to Africa’s food systems transformation. Inclusive irrigation policies empower women farmers, reducing labor burdens while improving access to income and food.
But scaling irrigation must go hand in hand with more inclusive and efficient water management, especially in water-stressed countries. This will be critical to achieving the ambitions of the @_AfricanUnion #Agenda2063 and the #KampalaDeclaration.
