A lot of people pick on Nygren, the "he offers fuck all". 21 goals from midfield last year. 8 goals this year, 7 assists. Covers most ground in the whole team. If Nygren is the issue, I dunno about the rest of them.

After the mess of last year, winning the league was a relief, for me it was also a chance to reset and fix everything wrong at the club. Included in that was to recruit better coaches and players. We have somehow managed to become worse in every department than last year. 🤷‍♂️

I am 100% behind the O Neil must go shouts. However, the bigger picture is whats going on behind the scenes. We are now behind clubs like Dundee and Hearts in terms of youth and recruitment, could probably throw in coaching too. The whole club needs ripped apart, wont happen.

There wasnt a team in Europe that I didnt fancy us beating at home only a few years ago. In that I include, United, Bayern, Juve etc. Now I expect us to lose every single European game. Some turn around. World class in everything we do.

Folk can talk about formations and to be honest, we can even question the manager. For me its simple, we are just a very poor side. Players starting that should be nowhere near a Celtic team, players still playing that should have been used sparingly. We are a mess.

Looking at the drop in standards, entertainment in the last few years, the Man City situation, big clubs like United running at debts over a billion pounds, are we seeing the beginning of the end for the English Premiership ?
