Today, we honour the children who never returned home, survivors, their families and communities, and all those affected by the residential school system.
We’ve honoured them through our warmup jerseys this month and today is a day to listen, learn, remember and reflect on the ongoing journey toward truth and reconciliation.

The Soo Greyhounds Hockey Club is proud to announce a special Truth & Reconciliation themed warm-up jersey, worn throughout the month of September and presented by The Indigenous Friendship Centre Sault Ste. Marie.
The jersey was designed by local Anishinaabe artist Marissa Indoe, and reflects the interconnectedness of Indigenous people and the land, along with the teachings that guide the Anishinaabe toward mino-bimaadiziwin – the good life.
