"But the great gift of power to the disciples was wisely postponed until their hearts were cleansed by the Holy Spirit. Then they were free from selfishness, & would use their extraordinary power with an eye single to the glory of God."

Every Sunday I worship Jesus. I'm thankful for the people who help us enter into the presence of God. It is more than a song time. People receive help & strength before anyone ever even gets up to preach. Don't miss worship! (Picture from Owensville campus.) #Encounter

There is real victory in Jesus!
1 John 5:4 "Everyone who has been born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith."

It is not revenge that you should seek in the face of violence and evil. That is a vile response, though a normal temptation. In the face of evil, we should seek redemption. The enemies of Jesus can become missionaries through the atoning work of Jesus!

It was good to have Dr Tim & Cindy Crump with us at both campuses of Mackey Church of the Nazarene yesterday.
We had our 4 year pastor/church review after the morning service. The church board voted unanimously to extend the call to me as the pastor for another 4 years. #Vision
