For any #Pac12 or #OregonState fans need some evening entertainment? Head Coach Justin Joyner joined us today on the @hokcbb podcast and was super gracious and transparent about his ascension from Saint Mary’s to Michigan to Oregon State.

People created a whole conspiracy about an agent purposefully losing money to steer a player somewhere because they can’t comprehend the idea that maybe a player doesn’t have money at the top of his list when deciding on a school.

Mark Few explains the process Gonzaga uses to work on mental toughness and adversity.
"We spend probably 25-30% of the athlete's time now on mental."
Then he explained what that looks like: "We do this thing called PGMs - Personal Growth Mondays."
"We start every Monday with this Personal Growth Monday. Staff, myself, coaches aren't allowed in there. It's just the players and Travis Knight, our strength coach and mental coach."
They invest the time every week. You can't let the mental game be an afterthought.
"They can dive into a myriad of anything that's currently happening or that they've requested...Processing pressure. Processing expectations. Lack of confidence. Hitting adversity. Handling success."
The best teams train the mind, the body, and develop the person.
Your mind is affected by your daily thoughts, habits and unconscious biases.
Mental fitness helps you build resilience and thrive.
Without investing time in mental fitness, managing stress, anxiety, and challenges becomes harder.

What a day for Gonzaga, getting the perfect sweep to send both teams to the NCAA Tournament. Great games throughout the WCC Tournament and worthy champions in the end.

Gonzaga apparently only has one guy good enough to be part of a 23 person All League team. They lost a possible All American. Had his replacement injured the last month. Used 13 different starting lineups. Still won the league. That guy must have won coach of the year right???

Ike signed every last autograph at the Kennel, then came back out to give three or four young fans pairs of his shoes.

Death, Taxes, people forgetting about Gonzaga’s noncon performance and very limited stumbles in WCC play when getting mad at their Top 10 ranking.

This watered down take is still terrible and we do not accept your half assed apology. Keep Football bros out of the best sport on the planet.
"It was a bad take. It was a terrible take."
@joelklatt revisits one of the "worst takes of the year" on the structure of March Madness. Thoughts?

No one talked about Gonzaga’s age until they started steam rolling teams😂😂 not a word before the season

The sheer number of national college basketball writers/talking heads who are low on the Zags this year is pretty wild in comparison to the actual feeling among people inside and around the program and fanbase. Gonna be pretty interesting to see how quickly that shifts.

Growing up in Seattle the big four for me were all about the Seahawks, Sonics, Huskies and Mariners.
The ONE thing I really really wanted above anything else, the ONE thing we've been chasing the longest, was right there in front of our face.
For a split second, I allowed myself to think that it was actually happening . And then a split second later, it was gone.
Maybe I'll feel different down the road, but right now this hurts worse than anything I've ever been through as a sportsfan
Heartbroken man. Goddamn heartbroken.
