And then there's Golden Kamuy if you prefer MANservice. Tanigaki has bigger pecs than most breasts on busty anime women.

Yeah, definitely shows why you didn't accept my challenge to apply the 12 principles of animation. The movement is stiff, unnatural and poorly timed. Definitely not the worst first attempt I've seen, and I would have even encouraged to keep improving if you were humble about it.

On a tangential note, every time I see people talking as if animation is easy, I think back to "Touhou - Summer Day's Dream", an fan anime animated practically by one person. There's a reason we only get one episode every 4 years or so.

That's images and videos, for some reason twitter is such a shit site that gifs are not displayed in either. Just go to the main posts and scroll down.

Only 15? Have you checked their twitter page? They made a lot more and have been doing it since 2021 at least, and a lot of what they posted proves their undestanding of animation.

Do you realize it will still prove nothing because it's still one single animation? But if you want to do it, just make something that proves your understanding of the 12 principles of animation. By the way principles 6 and 9 basically says that more frames = better is wrong.

Not always. There's a lot of animation principles that ask for lower, more choppy animation to convey certain kinds of movement or emotion better.

Also if you think more framerate equals better quality REALLY shows you know nothing about animation

I will praise you for at least trying but until you show you can draw what other people request and imagine you won't have any right to talk to commission artists who can animate what other people ask for.

Nothing that you've shown or said so far proves that you know anything about animation, just that you're good at turning real objects into paintings.

It's always both sad AND funny when someone who knows nothing about a craft tries to talk as if they know what they're talking about.

That's not the point. The point is that you know nothing about the process of animation. Also, there's a big difference between being able to do one animation and being able to animate anything a client might commission.

Tell me when you've made at least 100. If making ONE thing was enough to understand a craft, then I'm an expert musician because I tried making music once.

Don't bother, this person doesn't know anything they're talking about and are unwilling to understand.

Then it shows that you never animated and know nothing about animation, and you shouldn't be talking about something you don't understand. You really know about illustration, so either learn or stick to what you know.

No, the difference is: Backgrounds are usually made by illustrators that specialize in making good looking still images. Characters are animated by animators who specialize in drawing fluid motion even if each individual frame is not that detailed, since movement is what matters.

Yeah, that's why backgrounds are a separate job that is paid separately and made by a separate person.

That's the manga, try taking a look at one frame from the show. Ignoring the background and looking at each individual character since we're talking about character animation here, tell me this has much more detail. Also, anime is made by a team, not a single person.
