One study found that meditating for 2 months increased gray matter in parts of the brain that control emotions and learning. It may also ease inflammation in the brain and protect against Alzheimer’s disease. wb.md/4eB0xlx

Congratulations to all the students that participated in our symposium. The event showcased an excellent poster session and highlighted the importance of diversity and inclusion to address health disparities.
We had our 22nd Annual Health Disparities Symposium on August 2 at @LLUHealth's, Centennial Complex. Our program featured poster presentations followed by an evening program with a plenary panel and a recognition ceremony for the participating students.
