My comments after a public screening of the new film Naza which features 24 Israeli intelligence officers discussing the methods and ‘enjoyment’ of mass killing Palestinians in Gaza, ably assisted by AI tools. It’s a hugely powerful film, well worth seeing, and I was glad to discuss its ramifications alongside @PatrickAbboud + @NourHaydar (thanks to @MadmanFilms for the invitation). This video is by Cathy Vogan from @Consortiumnews:

Na Hong-jin’s HOPE is an absolute monster of a film. Nearly 3 hours long and somehow it barely stops moving once it gets going. Huge action, incredible creature work, ridiculous scale, but still full of the weird humour and humanity I love in his films. I was mesmerised entirely!
