Swerve has the good fortune of wrestling in 2026, where he’s allowed to just be a wrestler and he’s not viewed as just a “black wrestler.” He’s shown how soft he is from the mildest criticisms. Imagine he had to deal with the type of hardships faced by those before him that laid the groundwork from Ernie Ladd to JYD to Ron Simmons to Booker T. There’s being confident and then there’s being disrespectful. What a loser.
