SSG loves going to Rocket League events. They are some of the most hype experiences as a fan. BUT I wish there was a way to get other orgs to invest in activating during LANs. Over time we have seen fewer and fewer clubs showing up and putting effort into this part of events and it’s hard to blame them. The inability to cover your investment with merch sales in the venue makes it hard for most orgs to justify the effort. We’re extremely thankful to everybody who came by our next-door setup at Worlds and made us look like heroes for selling out. Aside from almost melting in the Texas heat, it was the most successful booth we’ve put together. We shipped almost nothing back to Utah and fans were offering to buy the merch that staff had been wearing. Somebody even offered to buy our tent lol If any other orgs are interested, I’d be more than happy to coordinate a similar setup at future events where everybody can activate for the community.
