Today is #BobiWineSolidarityDay. Spent the morning planting trees with the little ones. If you haven't, go out there and do your part in planting trees so we save the environment together. On this day, we stand in solidarity with our leader @HEBobiwine and all victims of political repression by engaging in activities that benefit humanity.

A short while ago, I spoke with our comrade Olivia Lutaaya and welcomed her back from the long period of unjustified detention. I am glad that her conviction has not been diminished by the criminal regime's persistent persecution. I assured her that the immense sacrifice she, together with other comrades, have made for a better country will never be in vain.

Magala Umar has retained his position as Kawempe North Lord Councillor after the Kawempe Chief Magistrate’s Court dismissed an election petition filed by his runner-up and NRM candidate, Mayanja Saava, with costs to the respondents.
In a ruling delivered by Chief Magistrate Okoth Thomas, the court found that defects in the oath of the official agent could not have substantially affected the election results.

The contrast is unmistakably devastating. You have a Supreme Court Justice living in exile for refusing to bend the law and standing by her judicial oath, while the head of the Judicial Service Commission openly shatters the code of judicial ethics, safe in the knowledge that accountability does not apply to him.
Uganda in 2026!
