That’s Product Market Fit sir.
If nobody hates what you’re building, you’re probably not building anything worth noticing.
Remove the ego and double down.

Generative art is good.
I see this opinion everywhere: "Generative art is evil".
As a game developer and a classically trained artist, I can see how someone could have this opinion.

The most dangerous addiction in game programming is abstraction.
Most programmers could build their own games from scratch by throwing away what they learnt in school and writing straightforward procedural code in 3 long functions:
handle_input
update_state
draw_world
You never finish because you were taught to add complexity for no benefit.
Here's how to map that structured approach without an engine: bytesbeneath.com/p/how-to-ar…

I've spent decades making and overseeing the creation of game art. Concept artists have been photo-bashing (stealing other artists' art and mixing it into their own) for as long as I can remember. This is worse than what AI does.
I spent a lot of time refining processes toward optimal efficiency. I got so good at it that it became boring. My teams and I never worked more than eight hours a day (unless I wanted to), never "crunched," and were always on time and on budget.
If a game production isn't using AI, it's malpractice and an abuse of investor funding. Efficiency gives you more time for creativity and sustainability. Wasting effort on labor for the sake of "artistic integrity" will help the game fail and get your team laid off.
