I’m humbled to share the work our team has been doing to support patients who are #undocumented . Thank you to @CAPCpalliative for creating space to discuss a vulnerable pop that the US elects to underserve by curtailing access to insurance #hapc @SWHPN @HPNAinfo #nooneisillegal

.@cvspharmacy just want to let you know that I am canceling my Carepass membership and my family is moving all of our business to @riteaid. We have had 3 stores close near us and the only one remaining is poorly run and consistently understaffed. 1/

I spent 2.5 hours on hold with the pharmacy between last night and tonight because they didn't run an RX through my insurance. Couldn't get anyone to answer -- when I called the front, turns out the pharmacist was out today. 2/

There's really no system in place to alert customers calling the pharmacy that NO ONE this there to pick up the phone? No automated message you could add for this pretty common issue? I have been @cvspharmacy customer my whole life, but good riddance. 3/3
Somehow the person in the org with the highest academic credential in our field is an admin in the fundraising department.

When you drop something fragile and vaguely precious, but not vital to the whole (say the lid of a ceramic teacup) and your instinct is to lightly kick it to slow down its descent BC it will def hit the ground. And it works so nothing breaks. That is what parenting twins is like.

First time in 8 years I’ve missed the #jbfa (busy giving baths to lil Dorie and Mae). Already so impressed with this year’s production and show. Shout out to the whole @beardfoundation team, especially the media dept crew!

Not so long ago, I was a #pedpc #hapc #socialworker. A set of parents with whom we worked were caring for a child with a terminal congenital disease and a healthy 4yo. Mom became pregnant.

In 1959, Eugene Ionesco wrote the absurdist play Rhinoceros in which one by one, an entire town of people suddenly transform into rhinos. At first, people are horrified but as the contagion spreads, (almost) everyone comes to accept that turning into a rhinoceros is fine. 1/

For 2022 I know you resolved to have better food system conversations. I am here for you Here are 7 widely held food ideas that are wrong. Let’s put a stake through their little hearts. (You prolly won’t agree with them all.) There’s a truth, and some ideas, at the end. 🧵

Only senior team members will be given org credit cards. Junior staff who make far more purchases on behalf of the company must loan the org money out of their own pockets and beg for a reimbursement.

When we say iterative process, what we really mean is that we’re anti-decision.
