A special delivery from Japan! 🇯🇵💙
Huge thanks to @ePARA_official and @gaaj_official for this fantastic jersey, complete with my gamer tag 柏 (Kashiwa), Japanese for "oak"! 🌳
Can't wait to be back in Tokyo this November and catch up with friends at GAAJ and ePARA! 🎮

ALT A bearded man with short brown hair smiles at the camera, wearing a black and teal esports jersey gifted by ePARA, featuring several sponsor logos. He raises his right hand in the ILY (I love you) sign. Tattoos are visible on both forearms. Behind him is a large image of the PlayStation Access controller.

Oh, let's go!!! More accessibility coming to SAROS!!
I don't remember if Sony ever added accessibility info in a State of Play before, but either way, this is still really cool!

What better time than Deaf Awareness Month to expand our Community Voices with Cameron Akitt (@MagnemiteBoy)!
You may know him as Senior Accessibility Researcher at PlayStation Studios, or from BSLGG. He shares his experience as a Deaf player with ADHD.

Happy to share that I’ve been promoted to Senior Accessibility Researcher at Sony Interactive Entertainment! 💙🤟
Had the chance to work at the Arc System Works booth on Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls at EVO Japan.
Listening to player feedback and watching people get hands-on was incredibly valuable, and had a lot of fun working alongside colleagues from Arc System Works and XDEV Japan! 💙
A really special visit to Sony City, thank you to Nishikawa-san for the warm welcome.
Inspiring to see the history and the people driving accessibility forward across Sony, it’s left me feeling motivated to keep pushing my own work further.
While in Tokyo I’m going to buy children’s books so I can start learning Japanese 🇯🇵📚
Sort of hoping they come with a crayon so I can complete the exercises properly 🖍️🤓
I’ll also be visiting a Deaf-owned café and restaurant, and would love to start learning some JSL too. 🤟
It was such a pleasure meeting Hokao-san, and the staff and players from ePARA and GAAJ at Evo Japan. I was truly inspired by your passion and dedication to accessibility in games!
I’m looking forward to continuing the conversation and supporting the important work GAAJ is doing.
